Would you, keep driving? Stop at the next exit?

That's just fog, damm, I was waiting for the "thing" to jump up on the hood.
High beams=bad idea (more reflection off the water vapor)...go slow.

Agreed. High beams in fog is a bad idea. Not only that, but if visibility is only 3-4 car lengths as described, why is he driving as fast as he is?

I'd probably keep driving, although I'd definitely slow down and put my hazards on. Also, I'd be lightin the place up with my yellow fogs, because fog lights are awesome

Clearly you haven't been to Cincy, when I landed there a couple years ago and drove to a friends place at 6 or 7 am in a rental, going the speed limit on whatever interstate that is with next to no visibility people were flying by me. I was blown away

1. Slow your pace down so you don't out drive your visibility.
2. If you feel confident enough that you can continue at 20-30 mph without someone plowing into the back of you, continue.

Are you just talking about the fog? Depends on how long it's likely to last, and also on what other traffic is likely to be doing.
I've been driving before when the weather's closed in and visibility got so bad that I had to slow to a speed that didn't feel safe what with the other idiots still cracking on at full tilt. Stopping would have been even more dangerous, so getting to the next exit was completely terrifying.

Behold the conditions for the final miles of the 2011 Mt Washington hillclimb, a climb done on a 20 foot wide road with thousand foot cliffs and zero guardrails.
In other words, yes I would drive in that, but I'm clearly insane.

Son, I'm from the north county. The land of ice and snow. Fog is a bitch but it's not gonna make me pull over. short of less than 5 feet visibility or less during a snow storm you slow down and truck on. other wise you'd be spending a lot of time cold on the side of the road. this fog ain't even that bad.

I love how they went through the motions:
Are highbeams better?
Nope.
Maybe now?
Still nope.
Maybe.... maybe my windshield is dirty?
Nope.
Fuck.

Oh, I forgot about that. That movie scarred me for life, especially "child birth" scene.
